You might know Erwin Khachikian as the arranger of Siavash Ghomayshi’s two albums ”Neghaab” and ”Bisarzamintar az Baad” and also Habib and Mohamad’s recent album! Erwin is the ROCKER among the arrangers in the LA-industry with an own ROCK band SLOW MOTION REIGN currently on the rise in US! Just released their debut album, produced by none other than SYSTEM OF A DOWN’s Serj Tankian!
And he has for the past months also been the ”kapellmeister” of Mansour’s band in the European tour! While wrapping up the tour in Sweden I had the chance to catch up with my good talented friend! And as always when two passionate artists meet the conversation was dominated by music, music, music and also some music!lol After some exchange of visions and inspirations Erwin told me about his new exciting projects, of which one is to produce some material on Mansour’s upcoming album! I truly look forward to hear it, because Mansour needs a touch of ROCK like Erwin’s on his material! There are also some other surprises up his sleeve which I wont reveal for now!
PS: don’t get fooled by the glimpse in our eyes, it was only Latte/Cappuccino in the glasses!lol
